Storage services and solutions company StorageTek has announced the limited availability of its T9940B tape drive.
The new device is reportedly the fastest that the company has produced - 30MB/s - while also featuring enhanced management capabilities and replication solutions. According to StorageTek, this enables users to do more backing up in less time while also improving the reliability of each operation.
