Imaging company Eastman Kodak Company will join with electrical products provider Sanyo Electrical Co to reveal a prototype flat-panel display.
The organic light emitting diode (OLED) 15-inch flat-panel display is full colour and has a display area of 32.64cm x 18.36cm. The company claims that the brightness of the display is comparable to LCD monitors that are available now and that OLED technology makes images viewable from a wide angle.

A spokesperson for the companies has stated that the prototype has demonstrated that OLED displays could be used in laptop computers or TVs.
