IBM has announced the immediate availability of its WebSphere Portal-Express for developing web sites.

The new product offering is aimed more towards small and medium businesses, claims IBM, as it is easy to install and use. WebSphere Portal Express enables companies to customise a page layout, add new web pages, add a user or change the web interface. Support is also included for web site personalisation, campaign management, single sign-on, authentication, authorisation and communications.
