Supply chain solutions developer Intermec Technologies Corp has chosen to include software from IBM in its 700 Series mobile computers.

Under the terms of the agreement Intermec will install the IBM WebSphere Everyplace Connection Manager into its mobile computers. This will enable users of the 700 Series to stay connected to applications as they move between a WAN and a LAN on a wireless connection. Similarly, users are not required to log on again as they move between the areas of different mobile coverage.

The financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
