Interliant launches managed firewall service

Managed infrastructure service provider Interliant UK has begun offering a managed firewall solution.

The service utilises Nokia IP30 hardware together with SofaWare's Safe@Office software and is designed primarily for use by small businesses. Up to five server IP addresses can be protected against a number of common Internet threats.

A spokesperson for the company has said that the new offering is an attempt to offer a managed firewall solution at a price that can be met by small businesses.

Pricing starts at GBP125 per month with a one-off GBP250 set-up fee.
