Communications testing company Acterna has enhanced its DA-3600 Data Network Analyzer product through the addition of lawful intercept and intrusion detection.
The analyser can be used with Ethernet and Packet-over-SONET/SDH data networks running at speeds of up to 2.5Gb/s. With lawful intercept and intrusion detection users can now intercept and forward packet streams based on predefined parameters.

A spokesperson for the company stated that with the DA-3600 Acterna aims to provide network surveillance tools and barriers against intrusion.
No pricing details were revealed.
