IBM has announced the immediate availability of a new server solution that is aimed specifically at the SME market.
The IBM eServer x225 includes tools that can be used to make servers self-managing, analyse computer usage patterns and predict future IT needs, according to the company. Other technologies featured in the server include Light Path Diagnostics to guide support staff to failed components, Capacity Manager for highlighting potential bottlenecks and Software Rejuvenation for the automatic elimination of errors in an application or the operating system.
