IT and communications solutions supplier Fujitsu has launched its DynaMO 640 POCKET magneto-optical device for storing data from mobile applications.

The new removable storage device measures 17mm high, weighs 400 grams and has a storage capacity of 640MB. An internal data transfer rate of 2.55MB/s is possible while a 2MB R/W buffer is also included.

Fujitsu claims that the DynaMO 640 POCKET device is designed primarily for digital photography or field workers that require large volumes of securely saved data.
