Chip maker Intel Corp has made a number of enhancements to its Intel Centrino mobile technology range through the launch of new products.
Intel is now offering a Centrino processor that runs at 1.70GHz together with a low-voltage version at 1.20GHz and an ultra-low-voltage model at 1.0GHz.
The 1.70GHz version is priced at USD694 while the Low Voltage 1.20GHz and Ultra Low 1.0GHz models cost USD341 and USD319 respectively.

Intel has also announced its plans to provide updated networking software with additional support for security features that protect information that is transmitted using wireless technology.
