UK-based communications company Siemens Communications has released version 3 of its Xpressions unified messaging solution.
This latest edition is designed to enable a company to increase the flexibility of its workforce. This is achieved through providing remote workers with an universal mailbox which can be accessed via mobile phone. The mailbox also sorts the enquiries and tasks in order of priority which, according to Siemens, can improve efficiency and productivity.

Xpressions version 3 has been launched to coincide with the introduction of new UK regulations which will require companies to look into providing flexible working options to parents of children under six.
The cost of Xpressions version 3 was not revealed.
