Enterprise job scheduling and software change management solutions supplier Cybermation has launched a job scheduling solution for Linux.

The new release enables the automation of IT job processing across distributed environments which, according to the company, can help an organisation to increase productivity and introduce a number of cost savings.

The job scheduling solution is designed primarily for Red Hat and SuSE Linux.

A spokesperson for the company said that Linux is being used extensively in Europe by mid-sized companies which are now actively looking for software that can be used in a Linux environment.

No pricing details were revealed.
