Device software optimisation solutions provider Wind River Systems (Nasdaq: WIND) has launched version 2.0 of its Wind River Workbench product.
The integrated development environment is based on the Eclipse framework and supports VxWorks, Linux and other, in-house operating systems, according to the company. Wind River Workbench 2.0 is intended to allow a company to standardise its development process, reduce overall software costs and reduce the time to market for new products.
