Chip maker Intel Corp has introduced the Intel Celeron D processor for the desktop value market.

Four versions of the Intel Celeron D processor have been released, the 335, 330, 325 and 320, available at frequencies of 2.80 GHz, 2.66 GHz, 2.53 GHz and 2.40 GHz respectively. All are based on Intel's 90-nm manufacturing technology, utilize 478-pin packaging, and feature a 256KB Level 2 cache and 533 MHz system bus.

Pricing in 1,000-unit quantities ranges from USD69 to USD117.
