Computer processor manufacturer AMD has announced it is to launch a new brand of PC processors called AMD Sempron.
Aimed for use in home and business PCs the company claims that the new processors will be ideally suited to modern PC use and will provide best-in-class performance.
More details on the new processors will be released in late 2004 according to the company.
