Customer service applications provider KANA (Nasdaq: KANA) has launched its KANA Response Live product for web collaboration, online chat and co-browsing.

The new module can reportedly reduce abandonment rates, improve customer satisfaction and increase the profitability of each customer for an online retail site, according to the company. This is brought about through the provision of real-time customer interaction so that customers can be guided through any potential problems they may experience in an online retail environment.

No pricing details were disclosed.
