The cameras are able to record for longer, provide TV-quality videos with sound with up to 80 continuous minutes, while using less memory storage. Built-in image stabilization technology helps to avoid on-screen shaking and the SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH lens enables users to zoom in on video subjects in real time. In addition, EASYSHARE Software version 5.0 enables users to combine, rotate and add music to video clips.
Both cameras are equipped with 5-megapixel resolution for prints up to 20 x 30 inches. The included KODAK EASYSHARE Photo Frame Dock 2 provides picture transfer to a connected computer while keeping the camera's battery charged.
The EASYSHARE V550 and V530 cameras will be available globally from June 2005 priced at USD399 and USD349 respectively.
