Altiris Inc, a provider of IT lifecycle management software, has introduced the Altiris Security Management Suite.
The new offering combines a seven-point system security vulnerability audit and assessment with remediation tools, to help organisations identify and address threats.
The software suite automates the assessment of the presence and status of antivirus software, security patches, industry-known vulnerabilities, personal firewall, system security configuration settings and unauthorised hardware and software vulnerabilities, according to Altiris.
