T-Mobile UK launches Danger's mobile Internet service Mobile software, and services provider Danger Inc announced on Thursday (17 November) that the T-Mobile Sidekick II, a device powered by Danger's mobile Internet platform, has been launched by mobile operator T-Mobile UK.

According to the company, Danger's mobile Internet platform consists of a software and services infrastructure that powers Danger-enabled devices. The platform, which is designed as a client/server system, is able to manage the secure transmission of data between the network and the device, providing end-users with web browsing, e-mail and instant messaging capabilities. Users can access all of these features from a web-based, online account through a desktop computer.

Sidekick II is available beginning on 17 November. Pricing starts at GBP30 per month and the cost of the device depends on the price plan selected, ranging from free to GBP49.99.
