The AMILO Pro V2030 Edition environmentally friendly notebook, has been unveiled by Fujitsu Siemens Computers, an IT provider.

The AMILO Pro V Edition features an Intel Celeron M Processor, dual-channel DDR-2 SDRAM memory with PC533, S-ATA hard disk drive with transfer rate of up to 150Mb/s and 1x type II interface for PC Card. In addition it offers 4x USB 2.0 interface, 1x IEEE 1394 interface, ergonomic keyboard, 15" TFT-XGA display, built-in optical drive and optional wireless communication modules.

According to Fujitsu Siemens, it is the first notebook to meet the requirements of the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, due to come into effect on 1 July 2006. The full professional notebook range from Fujitsu Siemens is expected to be converted by the end of 2005 to comply with the new guidelines and the company already offers PCs that meet the new requirements.

The AMILO Pro V2030 Edition has been designed for standard office applications and is available with pricing starting at GBP437.00 excluding VAT.
