A broadband router from Huawei Technologies, a telecommunications network solutions provider, has been approved by BT Exact.

Huawei said its Aolynk Router, for SME and SoHo users, offers high-speed Internet access via ADSL2 technology and includes an integrated firewall, making it ideal for SoHo and small businesses.

Huawei claimed the router and ADSL2 will provide small businesses and home users with the bandwidth they require and act as an entry point for those that may opt to scale up in the future. It said users will benefit from security and networking flexibility at an affordable price.

The Aolynk range from Huawei enables data exchange with a central office using ADSL technology, integrates ADSL, NAT and routing technologies and includes dynamic routing, NAT service, NTP support and ZIPB function.
