The most recent release of CA's Internet security solution for home users has been unveiled by CA (NYSE:CA).

eTrust Internet Security Suite r2 features parental controls, a new unified user interface and protection against a range of Internet-borne threats such as viruses, spam, spyware, hackers and identity thieves. CA, an information technology (IT) management software company, said the solution provides industrial-strength technology that is easy to use and includes automatic updates and preconfigured settings.

In addition, CA announced availability of eTrust Anti-Spam r4, which offers increased protection from e-mail fraud and phishing scams and provides e-mail search, spam score and automatic updates. CA's eTrust Internet Security Suite includes eTrust Anti-Spam, eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware, eTrust EZ Antivirus and eTrust Personal Firewall. It also features Blue Coat K9 Web Protection Parental Controls (available in North America and selected markets, in English-language only).

CA eTrust Internet Security Suite is available for USD69.95 for a single user and eTrust AntiSpam can be purchased for USD29.95 as a separate product. CA home user customers receive free product upgrades on all CA consumer products and those who have purchased eTrust Internet Security Suite r1 will receive a free and automatic upgrade to r2.
