Software company Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq:MSFT) has revealed plans to introduce a range of web services this month, intended to help small companies manage business contacts, online communications and calendars.

The company is to introduce its Office Live in the US on 15 November, following testing, and plans to introduce a beta test version in the UK, France, Germany and Japan on the same day.

Office Live will include a feature that enables small business owners to purchase advertisements, which are tied to keywords, to appear alongside Microsoft's Live Search results.

The company will provide a free ad-supported version of Office Live which incorporates access to Microsoft's advertising platform, web hosting, 25 company-branded e-mail accounts and a shared calendar.

Microsoft will also offer two subscription-based versions, including more e-mail accounts and more storage, for USD19.95 and USD39.95 per month.
