A new range of VAIO notebook computers has been unveiled by computer company Sony, including the AR20 series, FE30 series and N10 series.

The AR20 series incorporates the Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 2GB of high-speed DDR2 memory and a 17" 1920 x 1200 resolution X-black LCD screen. It is able to handle HD video content, enabling users to shoot, edit and produce HD films, burn them to Blu-ray discs and play back HD footage and offers an integrated HD and analogue tuner and HDMI output.

The FE30 series features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 200GB hard drive and 15.4" wide-screen display with dual lamp technology.

The N10 series features a 15.4" 1200 x 800 resolution X-black wide-screen, offers a hard disk from 80GB to 100GB in size and is considered Sony's entry-level notebook. It offers high-speed wireless networking capability, enabling users to go online via home wireless, public hotspots or wired networks in public places, and features an SD card and Sony Memory Stick slot.
