Worldwide Computer Products News-3 August 2007-Synchronica announces free trial of Mobile Gateway 3.0 for iPhone(C)1995-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Synchronica plc (AIM:SYNC), a provider of mobile synchronisation and device management solutions, announced on Thursday (2 August) a free trial of its Mobile Gateway 3.0, providing mobile synchronization between Microsoft Exchange and the native email client of the Apple iPhone.

According to the company, iPhone users will be able to try out Mobile Gateway free of charge to send and receive corporate e-mail using their iPhones, without the need to install any software on the device or behind the corporate firewall.

Mobile Gateway reportedly integrates with the corporate IT infrastructure and does not require the enterprise to expose IMAP and SMTP in its Exchange servers or install additional connectors. Instead, Mobile Gateway uses Microsoft's secure Outlook Web Access (OWA) to retrieve e-mail from the corporate Exchange server. Users need only to register their iPhones with Synchronica's Mobile Gateway and can start to send and receive wireless e-mail immediately.

Apple iPhone users interested in trying out Mobile Gateway 3.0 can visit http://www.synchronica.com to sign up for the free 60-day trial starting on Thursday (2 August). After the trial period, Synchronica plans to announce migration options to a commercially supported solution including offerings through service providers.
