CommonTime, a mobile computing solutions provider, announced on Wednesday (7 February) support for the Palm Treo 750 from mobile computing company Palm Inc (Nasdaq:PALM) with Lotus Notes wireless push e-mail.

The Treo 750 was made generally available across Europe via Palm's online store and from retail outlets, beginning on 6 February. The unit includes e-mail, messaging, web browsing and organization software. However, messaging includes Hotmail and Outlook Mobile support but not Lotus Notes messaging. CommonTime has reportedly extended IBM Lotus Notes to the device.

According to the company, CommonTime's mSuite version 4 includes Lotus Notes e-mail, contacts, calendar, tasks, Lotus Sametime instant messaging and Domino applications, and provides on-device security, over-the-air end-to-end security, centralized management, remote wipe for lost/stolen devices, data compression, and disaster protection with load-balancing and failover.

No financial or pricing details were disclosed.
