Worldwide Computer Products News-14 June 2007-Online Certification Centre launched by Fujitsu Siemens Computers(C)1995-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Fujitsu Siemens Computers, a European IT provider, announced on Wednesday (12 June) the EMEA-wide launch of its Online Certification Centre (OCC) for the channel.

According to the company, three Internet portals have been set up for Mobility, Storage and PRIMERGY certification. Each portal provides training requirements, preparatory material and online tests. Courses are available for certification as a sales professional in the field of Mobility solutions or as a sales professional, pre-sales consultant, or systems engineer for Storage or PRIMERGY solutions. Having completed the online exam, the user is immediately informed whether they have passed. Successful candidates are then sent a certificate by post and their details are recorded in the system, the company claims.

The OCC is already running in Germany, where the programme started in December 2006. OCCs are also available in Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and the UK. The certification service is free of charge and certified partners receive preferred ranking on the Fujitsu Siemens Computers Reseller Locator website.
