CA (NYSE:CA), an IT management software company, announced on Wednesday (20 June), the availability of a new Application Wizard for CA Single Sign-On (SSO), a component of its Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution.
According to the company, the Application Wizard helps IT administrators to automate single sign-on so that end users can benefit from convenient access to their applications. Single sign-on reportedly saves time, improves security and reduces help-desk calls by providing access to multiple applications through a single authentication.

The new solution complements the existing Tcl scripting language in CA Single Sign-On, which allows IT administrators to SSO-enable applications with complex, multi-stage logins. The combination of wizard- and script-based SSO-enablement makes CA's IAM solution particularly suitable for implementing single sign-on in diverse enterprise environments, the company claims.
