Memory solutions supplier Dataram has introduced a new 8GB memory upgrade for Hewlett-Packard ProLiant DL145 G3, DL365 G1, DL385 G2 and DL585 G2 servers, and ProLiant BL25p G2, BL45p G2, BL465c and BL685c Server Blades.

Dataram said that its DRH585G2/8GB consists of a matched pair of DDR2-667 speed PC2-5300 ECC Registered RoHS-compliant 4GB DIMMs.

It expands the two-way ProLiant servers to 32GB, the four-way ProLiant servers to 64GB and the four-way ProLiant DL585 G2 to a maximum memory capacity of 128GB.

No pricing details were announced.
