A new set of solutions has been introduced by communications solutions provider Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris:ALU) (NYSE:ALU) for large enterprises, making it easier to identify the communication needs of employees through customised planning capabilities.

The company said the new Corporate Communication Solutions for Large Enterprises offering is based on a user-centric approach which matches technology options with the needs of employees and their jobs. It claimed the user profile approach allows Alcatel-Lucent and its business partners to provide a network where communication and access to information help large enterprises to differentiate themselves from competitors.

According to Alcatel-Lucent, it provides an offering of products and services which combine business telephony, industry-focused applications, a secured LAN and WiFi infrastructure and cost effective VoIP, into a single solution for business partners and ICT professionals.

The company said large enterprises can benefit from integrated mobility and collaboration tools which offer web presence, unified messaging, shared access to contacts, calendars and documents, and desktop and wireless phones. It claimed the offering provides access to discreet user profiles, matching mobility and collaboration solutions to the needs of a range of employees, and helps to boost employee productivity.
