The Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry Curve 8320 handset from wireless solutions provider Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq:RIMM) (TSX:RIM), has been introduced in the US by mobile communications company T-Mobile USA Inc (T-Mobile), representing the first BlackBerry device available in the US to support T-Mobile HotSpot @Home over a Wi-Fi connection with in-home mobile coverage.

The Curve 8320 offers quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/Wi-Fi network support, a two megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom, built-in flash, self-portrait mirror and full-screen viewfinder; advanced media player, instant messaging clients (AOL, Windows Live, Google, Yahoo! and ICQ), Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity and BlackBerry Maps.

The 8320 offers a user interface with trackball, a full QWERTY keyboard, HTML browser, Roxio Media Manager for BlackBerry, ultra-bright colour display, light sensing technology and spell-checking and is enabled for T-Mobile's myFaves.

The device includes phone and call management features, Bluetooth support, Handango InHand catalogue, support for ringtones and expandable memory storage and BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server support.

The new BlackBerry Curve 8320 is available in two finishes (titanium and pale gold) from T-Mobile, online and via retail stores and authorised dealers and enables users to enjoy unlimited calling over a Wi-Fi network and via almost 8,500 T-Mobile HotSpot locations in the US.
