Trend Micro Incorporated (TSE:4704), a secure content and threat management company, has integrated added data and identity theft protection for users of QuickBooks from Intuit, a provider of business, financial management and tax solutions, within its newly launched Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 for small businesses.
The solution reportedly passed the Intuit Developer Network's (IDN) technical review for QuickBooks integration and other product functionality.

According to the company, QuickBooks protection is easy to deploy for customers of Worry-Free Business Security 5.0. Users need to check the 'Enable Intuit QuickBooks Protection' box found within the program, and the Behavior Monitoring component of the solution is activated to help protect the data from unauthorised changes. The QuickBooks 'folder lockdown' capability included in the solution is a layer of added security to help protect users from data or identity theft.
