Worldwide Computer Products News-25 March 2008-Innovative Card Technologies and ActivIdentity introduce Smart DisplayCard(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Innovative Card Technologies, Inc (Nasdaq: INVC), developer of the ICT DisplayCard for e-banking, e-commerce and data access authentication, and ActivIdentity Corp (Nasdaq: ACTI), a provider of identity assurance solutions, announced on Monday (24 March) the launch of Smart DisplayCard.

According to the company, the ICT DisplayCard, developed by Innovative Card Technologies, integrates the security of a one-time passcode token into a card the size of a standard payment card. At the push of a button on the card, a one-time passcode is shown on an integrated display. During an online transaction, this number is entered into a user interface with other information such as the user's login name and static PIN.

The addition of a chip on the card also enables PKI login, e-mail encryption and digital signature capabilities, and is fully integrated with the ActivIdentity Software portfolio, including SecureLogin SSO, ActivClient, ActivID Card Management System, 4TRESS AAA Server and 4TRESS Authentication Server, the company said.

The Smart DisplayCards can reportedly secure a wide range of financial institution customer transactions at multiple points of access. For enterprises, they provide a strong authentication solution for Windows login, remote access, single sign-on and secure e-mail/transactions.

Smart DisplayCards are currently available to the ActivIdentity global customer base. No financial details were disclosed.
