Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM), a data protection and security company, announced on Thursday (22 May) the new Iomega eGo Leather Portable Hard Drive.
According to the company, the new Iomega eGo Drive is a 250GB, USB-powered, 2.5" portable hard drive bound in rich brown leather. It comes as a complete storage solution with a license for EMC Retrospect HD software for automatic backups, scheduled backups, or on-demand backups. The company's DropGuard technology protects the drive from accidental damage caused by drops of up to 51" (129cm).
