TIBCO Software Inc (Nasdaq:TIBX), a business infrastructure software company, today (16 October) announced the launch of its BusinessEvents 3.0 software, which the company said will add significant new features to its Complex Event Processing (CEP) software.
BusinessEvents 3.0 features a new business user interface which aims for an easier, more intuitive authoring of rules as well as support for event streams processing. In addition, the solution's distributed event processing capabilities can monitor a practically unlimited number of events, said the company.

TIBCO said that a key benefit of CEP is that it provides companies with the ability to rapidly respond to potential problems or take advantage of emerging opportunities. Its BusinessEvents software detects business behaviours, provides contextual insight to help companies mitigate risk and generate additional profits. Companies can set TIBCO BusinessEvents to act automatically on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, build loyalty, sell more products and increase efficiency.
