Video communication provider ooVoo announced on Friday the release of the newest version of its video chat service for Mac users.
According to the company, ooVoo 2.1 for Mac includes features from its PC version. The solution now offers the Web Call link to video call friends who have not downloaded ooVoo, enabling them to join the call in their web browser.

In addition, ooVoo Mac users can now embed video chat rooms in their blogs or websites and offer their site visitors video conversations at anytime. The new release also features a sidebar view mode to allow desktop viewing of documents while on a call.
Other features offered through ooVoo's free and subscription plans include: up to six-way online video calls; video chat rooms; video e-mail messages; video call recording; high resolution video; multi-party phone and video calls; file transfer of files up to 25MB; video effects; and text chat.
