Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE:AU), a provider of infrastructure software, announced on Thursday (19 March) that its core infrastructure software, the Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL), is now the underlying technology for TeamSite, Interwoven Autonomy's web content management product.
Autonomy announced the completion of its acquisition of Interwoven on 17 March, 2009.

According to the company, the IDOL-based TeamSite is to enable a range of additional IDOL functionality within Autonomy Interwoven's Web Solutions. Customers will benefit from a combination of legacy keyword and advanced conceptual technologies and an increase in performance and scalability over the previous release of TeamSite.
A series of new modules that make use of the additional capabilities IDOL brings to TeamSite are planned to be released over the coming months.
TeamSite 6.7.2 is available now. The product is available at no additional cost to current maintenance customers. No other financial details were disclosed.
