CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
IBM and Lotus Development Corp. have released a new IBM WebSphere/Lotus Domino bundle to assist organisations in building collaborative Web solutions.
The new bundle combines the transactive capabilities of the WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Edition, with the collaborative capabilities of Lotus Domino to give organisations a foundation to build B2B commerce, customer service and supply-chain applications.
The product bundle includes WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Edition (single CPU version), WebSphere Studio Professional Edition, Domino Application Server and Domino Designer.

IBM and Lotus Development have also released WebSphere/Domino 'Getting Started', which provides customers with setup and configuration services. The 'Getting Started' package includes on-site/off-site consulting services, setup and configuration of WebSphere and Domino on a Microsoft Windows NT server, installation of demonstration and example applications and skills transfer related to setup and configuration.
The IBM WebSphere/Lotus Domino bundle is expected to be available within about 30 days.
