IBM has launched a new CRM service aimed at providing customers with a method of accelerating and reducing the risk of any planned CRM implementation.

The new offering is called IBM CRM Management Services and is specifically tailored for mid-to-large size enterprises. IBM is also building a Siebel-based CRM system for its own sales and support operations.

The new services offering comes in response to a report recently issued from the IDC claiming that the worldwide market for CRM operations management is expected to grow to USD82.7bn by 2005.

IBM CRM Management Services are available in the United States and will be available in Europe in the second quarter of 2002.
