California-based NetIQ has begun shipments of AppAnalyzer 1.0, its new web-based analysis and reporting tool for Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 Server.
Designed to simplify the management of Exchange services within even very large Windows NT/2000 environments, the tool offers a variety of information about Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 Server including message traffic analysis, message delivery times, historical and current mailbox and message content notification.
AppAnalyzer can be used by IT personnel to document message delivery performance company-wide and to plan for system enhancements. The tool can also be used to forecast trends because of its ability to collect and summarise months of data.
