New version of SPSS' Clementine data mining software now available

The US analytical systems provider SPSS Inc has begun shipments of Clementine 6.0, the latest version of its data mining workbench.

Designed to enable companies to turn the flood of information about visitors to their web sites into more profitable customer relationships, the new version offers a web mining application template, a template for use with telecommunications data mining projects and a data mapping tool to aid users in applying the templates to their own data.

Other enhancements include new algorithms, improved scalability and a new deployment tool.

Pricing was not revealed.
