New network monitoring platform available from Agilent

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Agilent Technologies Inc has introduced a new network analyser called Agilent Advisor E-series.

Designed to simplify network troubleshooting, the new product allows users to monitor and perform protocol analysis on services running Packet over SONET/SDH across access and core networks, providing full rate capture of a PoS connection at the interface rate of 155Mb/s for SONET OC-3 and SDH STM-1 framing.

The Advisor E-series also incorporates High Speed V-Series Interface and Mobile-IP capabilities and a software application that will facilitate troubleshooting of LAN switches through remote monitoring.

The Advisor E-series is available for USD14,995.
