Integrated security management solutions provider PentaSafe Security Technologies Ltd has released a new version of its security policy reference book.

Version 9 of 'Information Security Policies Made Easy' includes revised text based on the ISO 17799 standard, 185 new policies and a web-based CD-ROM. The book offers information security professionals 1,360 revised and ready-to-use security policies, accompanied by explanations and expert advice for each, according to PentaSafe.

The new policies covered in the book address security issues such as digital signatures, digital certificates, spam, Internet business usage and recent legislation.

'Information Security Policies Made Easy, Version 9' is written by Charles Cresson Wood and priced at USD795. It is currently available in English, and a Spanish version is scheduled for release in early 2003.
