CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Storage services and solutions company StorageTek has launched its T9840C tape drive with fast access and improved capacity.
The device is part of StorageTek's T9X40 family of tape drives yet has double the capacity of previous models. The StorageTek T9840C features a 40GB per cartridge capacity, 30MB per second data throughput for faster backup and restore and a 12 second average data access time.
Pricing starts at USD38,000.
