CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Microsoft Corp has announced the launch of its Exchange Server 2003 messaging and collaboration server.
The new release is part of the Microsoft Office System and provides a company's employees with secure access to business communications and scheduling. The 2003 version improves upon older editions with the addition of Cached Exchange Mode, more efficient communications, increased bandwidth efficiency and Volume Shadow Copy services, according to Microsoft.
A spokesperson for the company said that the Exchange Server 2003 can simplify an IT infrastructure and facilitate the making of business decisions.
