UK ISP BT Openworld has launched a plug-and-go office network that lets small companies link up multiple computers to form a network.

The computers that are included in the network can share a broadband connection so that they will all have access to the Internet, claims BT. PCs and peripherals can be connected to each other via a Wi-Fi link, Ethernet cables, USB link or telephone access points.

BT has based the offering on 2Wire technology which lets PCs and Apple Macintoshes share a broadband connection.

No pricing details were revealed.
