A global study by Wipro Technologies, IT services company, co-sponsored by chip manufacturer Intel, shows that companies can reduce annual desktop support costs by up to 55 per cent.
According to the report, enterprises can cut their annual desktop support costs by more than half by standardising their PC configurations, and in addition generate savings of up to 20 per cent per year by replacing their desktop systems every three years.
