New small business web hosting services available now from Yahoo! and SBC

Telecomms company SBC Communications Inc and Internet portal Yahoo! have joined forces to launch a suite of web hosting services aimed specifically at small businesses.

A number of different offerings have been made available.

SBC Yahoo! Web Hosting costs between USD8.37 to USD39.95 per month and provides up to 35 e-mail accounts, web design tools or templates, up to 350MB of storage for files and images, up to 35GB per month data transport, a 24-hour free phone line for support and business reporting tools.

SBC Yahoo! Merchant Solutions costs between USD27.97 per month plus a 1.5% transaction fee to USD299.95 per month with a 0.75% transaction fee. Companies subscribing to the service receive all of the features of SBC Yahoo! Web Hosting with a shopping cart and checkout pages that calculate tax and shipping charges, product information, inventory level tracking, an order management system and merchandising tools as well as product sales and web site performance reporting.

SBC Yahoo! Business Mail provides custom e-mail addresses from between USD6.97 and USD9.95. Subscribers receive five custom e-mail accounts with 25MB of storage each, SpamGuard junk mail protection and e-mail archiving.
