BellSouth (NYSE:BLS), a communications company based in the US, has unveiled its new FastAccess DSL 6.9 Internet service for businesses, doubling the speed of its current offerings.
According to BellSouth, the new FastAccess Business DSL 6.0 service is suitable for business customers seeking greater bandwidth for increased productivity. It said the service provides downstream connection speeds of up to 6Mb/s and upstream connection speeds up to 512kb/s and is suitable for multiple users and high-speed business applications.

BellSouth said the new service provides a much faster service for small businesses at a competitive price - the service is available to business customers from USD74.95 per month with bundle discounts. The price includes a free business domain name, custom e-mail address and 15 bellsouth.net e-mail addresses. In addition it offers installation and repair guarantees and dedicated business support and technical specialists.
