BroadSoft VoIP software to power XO's new IP voice and data services

Corporate telecomms provider XO Communications Inc is to use VoIP software provider BroadSoft's voice applications software to drive its latest IP voice and data services package.

BroadSoft software will be used to support XO's XOptions Flex VoIP bundled service aimed at the business market. According to the telecomms provider its XOptions Flex package will increase bandwidth efficiency, improve productivity through VPN voice services and allow advanced features such as selective calling and click-to-dial Microsoft Outlook contacts.

A spokesperson for XO said that BroadSoft's platform is now an integral part of its strategy to become the leading provider of next generation bundled services for businesses.
