Nortel appoints Datasharp as a UK channel partner

Datasharp has announced that it has been appointed as a channel partner in the UK by Nortel (NYSE/TSX:NT), for its new small business solution - Nortel's Business Communication Manager 50 - which includes IP telephony capabilities.

The solution is specifically designed to deliver big business capabilities to small and home offices as well as multi-site and branch offices in such sectors as retail, real estate, education and government.

Nortel's BCM 50 is a scalable version of the BCM 200 and BCM 400 solutions, providing an affordable, all-in-one solution for businesses looking to harness the benefits of fully converged telephony and networking solutions.

The new solution, which can scale from a minimum of three users, provides smaller firms with business features such as built-in firewalls for network security, voice and unified messaging, IP networking, Internet access, contact centre support with skills-based routing and IP telephony features.
